Limited Liability Indemnity

Last updated: August 2026

What this page does

It sets out the limits of our responsibility for how our DIY products are used after delivery. It does not, and cannot, limit the rights you have under mandatory Norwegian consumer law: the Consumer Purchases Act (forbrukerkjøpsloven), the Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven) and the Product Liability Act (produktansvarsloven) apply regardless of anything written here.

What we are responsible for

That the goods match their description, are of proper quality and arrive undamaged - and putting it right at our cost when they do not. That is your statutory protection and we stand behind it.

What remains yours

Our screens are self-installed DIY products. Measuring your own opening, cutting a screen down to size, fixing it appropriately for your window or door, and using swatters safely and as directed are your responsibility. We are not liable for damage caused by installation contrary to the instructions, by cutting errors, or by use of a product for something it is plainly not made for.

Indirect loss

To the extent Norwegian law permits between us and a consumer, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses unconnected to the defect itself. Where the law gives you compensation rights - as the Consumer Purchases Act does for losses caused by a defect - those rights stand.

Product liability

Claims for personal injury or damage caused by a defective product are governed by the Product Liability Act (produktansvarsloven). Nothing here excludes that liability.
